As Senior Director, eBay Classifieds Northern Europe, one of eBay’s fastest growing Divisions, Morten oversees the company’s Danish portfolio, including Bilbasen.dk, Denmark’s No. 1 online destination for cars; dba.dk, the No. 1 online marketplace in Denmark; and Bilinfo, the leading automotive dealer management tool in Denmark. In addition, he leads Den Blå Avis and Bilmarkedet, the two market-leading print classified titles.

Morten also serves as chairman of Issuu.com, the world´s leading digital publishing platform delivering exceptional reading experiences of magazines, catalogs, and newspapers.

Previously, Morten was Managing Director, Nordic Region at StepStone ASA, Europe’s biggest jobs classifieds business (owned by Axel Springer Group). Prior to StepStone he was Director of Sales & Marketing at Paybox Nordic, the first company to launch mass-marketable Internet and mobile payment solutions in Europe. Morten started his career in Mercedes Car Group where he held various roles in product management and sales.
Morten holds a degree in business management from Daimler-owned VWA business school in Stuttgart/Germany.

In his spare time Morten is a bit of a petrol head with interest in vintage cars. He is the proud owner of a Mercedes 280 CE Coupe in mint shape with the same date of birth as himself.
